This application provides a quick and easy way to estimate the Federal and Provincial taxes one would expect on their earnings and capital gains! Given the annual expected earnings for the year, the calculator provides the total income taxes and EI/CCP/QPP deductions, and net income. It also displays a graphical representation of the income taxes, periodic earnings, tax bracket breakdown and comparison against other provinces and territories. All tax calculations are done locally and will not leave your device. No tax input information is linked to the user. The calculator has an optional capital gains field, eligible dividends, ineligible dividends and RRSP contribution field. The RRSP input will be used to assess the RRSP refund that may contribute to a tax refund for the year.
