LittleCal has a long history that goes back to September, 2010 when I released its first version. If you have used LittleCal 3, I'm sorry, but it's DEAD with no chance of recovery. It has turned out that its status menu was incompatible with macOS 15 (Sequoia). So I've developed a new version from scratch without a status menu. Now, LittleCal has become an event planner that shows a list of events for the selected week. - What’s new? - 1. The application no longer requires that it be kept running when the user extends an event reminder. Click on the notification alert to let the application launch itself so that you can extend an event reminder. 2. The user interface of the application is completely redesigned with no status bar. Its window shows a list of events for the selected week. 3. Select a level of importance in color for the selected event title. 4. The application window no longer has a fixed size. It’s freely resizable. - Features - 1. Click on a calendar day button to create a single-day event under the selected calendar day. 2. Open the event menu and click on the W button to create a weekly event. 3. Open the event menu and click on the M button to create a monthly event. 4. Open the event menu and click on the A button to create an annual event. 5. Open the event menu and click on the Q button to create a quick event. 6. Open the event menu and click on the R button to create a routine event. 7. Click on the ? toolbar button to get full access to user’s guide. 8. Click on the notification alert tab to let the application launch itself so that you can extend or not extend the notification reminder. 9. Delete all past events by choosing Delete Past Events under Little. 10.The application supports the light and dark appearance mode. 11.The fullScreen mode is supported. 12.Languages: English only. 13.Application file size: 17.8 MB. - System requirements - 1. macOS 14.0 (Universal) or higher with an Intel chip or an Apple chip (M1, M2, M3, M4) - Limitations - 1. The user can create as many as five events without an Unlimited in-app purchase. 2. The application is designed such that the first day of the week is Sunday. There is no guarantee that it will run as intended when you select any day other than Sunday in Language & Region. 3. The user must configure notification settings for this application properly in order to get notifications with a sound as explained in User’s guide Page #4.
