Shoot a building from street level and a wide-angle lens makes the walls lean inward. AutoAlign solves for the exact angle the shot was taken at and reverses it, so verticals stand straight without the stretched look other tools leave behind. No tripod, no tilt-shift lens.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose a photo, or edit straight from the Photos app.
2. AutoAlign corrects it automatically. Pick Full, or Vertical only.
3. Decide what happens to the empty corners straightening leaves behind: Keep them, Fill them, or Cut them off. Trim sky and foreground too, if you want.
4. Crop, compare before and after, save.

• HDR. The gain map is corrected alongside the photo, so brightness and colour survive intact.
