OSC Messaging keeps theatre and live-event teams in sync with fast, channel-based chat and optional OSC device control. Organize conversations by department (Audio, Lights, Deck, Props, Video, FOH) so messages stay focused and the right people see the right info at the right time. Originally developed as a way for Front of House sound to chat with backstage to communicate issues with wireless mics, patching, etc... How it works Install and configure the BSCamera server locally on your network (https://github.com/sqkysqnt/bscamera) Connect to your BSCamera messaging server. Set per-channel notifications and quick replies. Chat, share photos, and trigger/monitor OSC from the same app. Note: Upon initial installation and until a local BSCamera server Is connected to, no messages will be visible...by design. No messages flow to the internet - everything is locally hosted on the server and is only as latent as your local network. The app is used as an interface to the server. Everyone gets the messages at the same time - because everything is local, there's no need to wait for various phone provider's networks to relay information. The messages are kept on site - once you leave the theatre and no longer have access to the server, all the messages are gone from the app. Next day at the theatre, they're all back. OSC! - Any device that uses OSC can send messages to OSC Messaging using the theatrechat protocol: /theatrechat/message/[channel ID] "[sender_name]" "[message]"
