Status Display is a simple, networked "OK/BUSY" screen designed for those working from home, podcasters, streamers, and broadcast studios. I created it because I needed an easy way for my kids to see when I’m working, but it has grown into a versatile tool for any professional environment. It runs completely locally on your network and updates on multiple devices simultaneously—perfect for putting tablets or phones outside control rooms, recording booths, or home studio doors. HOW IT WORKS Open the app on your Mac to act as the host server. Scan the built-in QR code with your phone or tablet to instantly open the Status Display or Control Page in your mobile browser. Mount that device outside your door, and control it from your Mac, MIDI controller, OSC software, or automation tools. POWERFUL CONTROL OPTIONS • OSC (Open Sound Control): NEW! Trigger status changes via TouchOSC, QLab, or any OSC-capable software. Fully customizable port, address, and values. • MIDI Integration: Map your OK/BUSY states to any MIDI controller. Supports both CC (Control Change) and Note messages with adjustable thresholds. Perfect for controlling your status directly from your DAW. • Webhooks: Copy pre-formatted cURL commands straight from the app to trigger your display via Stream Deck, home automation, or custom scripts. • Web Interface: Control the display manually via the clean, mobile-friendly web control page. NETWORK REQUIREMENTS • All devices must be on the same local network. • Port 3033 must be accessible (HTTP). • Port 8000 (or your custom port) must be accessible for OSC control.
