Familai

Familai is a family-focused AI chat app that lets everyone in your household use AI in a safe, controlled way. One family plan covers up to five members. Parents set the rules; kids get age-appropriate chats and limits. Everyone can have their own threads or share conversations with other family members.

**Chat together, safely**
- **Streaming AI conversations** — Real-time replies; every chat is saved so you can continue later.
- **Shared threads** — Add family members to a thread so you can talk with AI as a group (homework, projects, or just for fun).
- **Private by default** — Each person has their own chat list; you choose when to share a thread.

**Built for parents**
- **Family account** — One account, up to 5 members. Invite adults and kids with a simple invite code.
- **Child safety** — For under-18 members you can set allowed time windows, daily message limits, topic filters, link rules, and strict mode. Limits are enforced on the server so they can’t be bypassed.
- **Transparent monitoring** — Family owners can view a child’s chat list and read their threads (read-only) so you know what they’re using AI for.
- **Age-appropriate AI** — For younger kids, the AI uses simpler language and avoids mature or sensitive topics.

**Creative play**
- **AI image generation** — In the Playground, create and edit images from text. Usage is included in your plan (Free: 10/month, Plus: 100/month, Pro: 1,000/month).

**Simple plans**
- **Free** — 200 messages and 5 images per month, 5 members.
- **Plus** — 2,000 messages and 200 images per month, 5 members.
- **Pro** — 20,000 messages and 2,000 images per month, 5 members.

**Sign in**
- Email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Continue with Google. New users get a family created automatically; existing users can join a family with an invite code.
