RUNI: Your healthy evolution in running.
The goal of RUNI is to provide informational support for all beginner runners allowing them to get to know their own bodies and make the right decisions in running, enabling healthy evolution and avoiding possible future injuries.
Through an educational and interactive experience in a 3D human body, runners will be able to interact with the desired part of the body to learn spontaneously, visually, and playfully about the main muscles used in running. By staying informed, runners also stay safe.
>> The Story:
At the beginning of running, everything's wonderful. But suddenly: injury. Your unadapted body and lack of accessible information bring you a surprise. And you're out of running for the next few months. Away from the sport you were falling in love with.
That was my story when I started running in 2023, and my pain from getting injured for one big reason: the lack of knowledge and the lack of easy access to the information I needed to take care of my body.
>> The Problem:
The lack of access to reliable and quality information about running injuries for beginner runners.
With the injury, two problems remained in my mind: first, I didn't know where to look for information, as it was scattered all over the internet and I didn't know what to trust; second, I didn't even know how to name the body parts, always falling into complicated technical jargon.
The world has never had as many beginner runners as it does today. Running has become increasingly popular, and with this rapid growth, information needs to be accessible to everyone who is starting out in this sport.
>> The Goal:
Educating beginner runners about the main muscles used in running, in order to prevent future injuries and allow for healthy evolution.
The goal of RUNI is to provide the informational foundation that allows beginner runners to make informed decisions in the sport, enabling healthy evolution. To learn to listen to your own body, you first need to understand what your body is made of.
