A journal that writes itself.
Locatale notices when you stop somewhere, names the place, and keeps it in a quiet, private timeline. No check-ins, no manual logging, no account. Your days, remembered automatically.
Everything happens on your phone. Visits are detected and stored on device; if you turn on iCloud sync, your data travels through your own iCloud account, which we cannot read. We never see where you go.
What Locatale does:
• Today: each day's visits on a timeline, with arrival and departure times.
• Photos: pictures you take somewhere appear on that visit, matched from your library, on device.
• Map: the day's visits connected in order, so an ordinary Tuesday has a shape.
• Places: every visit collects under the place it belongs to: home, work, the bakery you keep coming back to.
• Recap: each month summarized, a moment of the week, a year in review. Slow and cumulative, not a daily scoreboard.
• In control: wrong guess? Fix it in a tap. Rename places, adjust visits, add notes. Locatale remembers each correction and favours your choice the next time you stop there.
Private by design:
• No account, ever.
• Your location history never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync, and then it syncs through your iCloud, not our servers.
• No advertising, no cross-app tracking, no data sales.
• Works offline.
