SerialDeck is a fast, modern serial terminal for embedded and hardware development on macOS. CONNECT • Auto-detects USB-serial adapters (FTDI, CP210x, CH340, built-in) • Full control of baud, data bits, parity, stop bits, flow control • Live device list — adapters appear/disappear as you plug them • DTR / RTS / BREAK signal-line control for board reset & bootloaders TERMINAL • ANSI / VT100 colour rendering for kernel and RTOS consoles • Type directly in the terminal — no separate input box • ASCII or hex view, hex send, selectable line endings, local echo • Command history, in-view filter, adjustable font DECODE • Built-in decoders: log-level classifier, AT command, Modbus RTU, NMEA 0183 — each frame tagged, searchable, de-duplicated • Custom regex classification rules • Live numeric plotting from the data stream PRODUCTIVITY • Saved command macros with ⌘1–9 shortcuts • Session logging to file • Drag-and-drop file transmission SerialDeck does not collect any data and requires no network access.
