Internset Tracker is the Mac companion app for the Internset platform. It helps users record verified proof-of-work for assigned tasks through consent-based screenshots and activity tracking. Built as a productivity app for structured programs, Internset Tracker supports task-based training, virtual internships, skill sprints, career programs, and workforce readiness initiatives where users need to show verified progress on assigned work. After pairing the app with an Internset account and linking it to a specific task, Internset Tracker records proof that the task is being worked on and securely uploads it to Internset. The app runs only when the user chooses to start tracking, and only while there is an active, signed-in Internset session. Requires an Internset account Internset Tracker is not a standalone tracking app. Users need an Internset account provided through their program, school, company, or training provider, along with an assigned task that requires tracking. Without an Internset account and linked task, the app cannot be used. How it works • Pair the app with an Internset account using a one-time code from the Internset website • Link the app to the specific assigned task • Press Start to begin tracking, and press Stop at any time to end it • The app captures proof-of-work evidence and uploads it securely to Internset What it records only while tracking • Periodic screenshots • Active applications • Active browser tab details, where supported, to help verify task-related activity Privacy and control • Nothing is recorded until tracking is started on a linked task • Screenshots are encrypted on the Mac before upload • Tracking stops when the user stops tracking or signs out • macOS Screen Recording and Automation permissions are granted explicitly by the user Internset Tracker is built for transparent, consent-based task verification within the Internset platform.
