LocAlarm is an iPhone application that applies the regular concept of alarm, but instead of using time, it uses space! Set up alarm points and be more aware of your environment than ever. It's easy! You can use it to: - Wake up in the train when you're close to your destination - Of course, wake up in the BUS when you're close to your destination - When walking around, you know you need to turn at "that" street on the map but you have to keep looking at your device - well, not anymore! - Set up an alarm when you're close to the grocery store and never forget to buy something on your way home The possibilities are endless! There are a few other GPS alarms on the market but because of new features brought in iOS 4, they need to be in the foreground to work, which mean your phone cannot be used to surf the web, listen to music... In fact, you cannot even lock the screen! LocAlarm harvests the power of multitasking introduced in iPhone latest OS to give you the best experience possible, and give you what you expect from an alarm - set it, and never have to think about it again ! Note: To enjoy the multitasking experience you will need at least an iPhone 3G, however LocAlarm will only work in foreground with an iPhone 3G due to technical restrictions. Also, LocAlarm will do its best to reduce the precision or shutdown the GPS when not near any alarm, but be aware that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
