On top of that, strange fluctuations in gravity were twisting the city’s skyline, making movement unpredictable and dangerous. Mysterious laser barriers had also appeared overnight, sealing off key routes and trapping anyone who got too close. One thing was clear: someone was trying to tighten their grip on the city.
