THE LOT — Local Offline Toolbox for AI via Ollama
THE LOT is a local-first thinking and writing toolbox designed to help you use local LLaMA models in a practical way.
The app includes four modes — Plan, Summarize, Decide, and Write — that turn notes into structured outputs. These modes are intended to be used with Local LLaMA via Ollama. When local AI is enabled, THE LOT provides scenario-aware planning, meaningful summaries, reasoned decisions, and usable drafts — all running entirely on your machine.
Without local AI enabled, THE LOT runs in a deterministic baseline mode. This mode demonstrates structure and formatting, but does not infer meaning or generate scenario-specific results. It exists to make behavior predictable and to help users understand what local AI adds when it is turned on.
This makes THE LOT especially useful for people new to Ollama or local LLaMA. There is no terminal workflow, no configuration files, and no accounts. If Ollama is installed, local AI can be enabled with a single toggle. All processing stays on your device. No cloud services are used.
Every run produces a saved local artifact. There is no chat history, no memory, and no hidden state.
THE LOT is built for users who want to learn, test, and use local LLaMA models in a simple, transparent, and controlled environment.
