Detailed Feature Summary The app is a macOS SwiftUI timelapse studio that converts frame sequences into a video-only MP4 (H.264). It uses a single-window interface with adaptive layout: cards display side-by-side on wide windows and stack on narrower windows. Frame input supports both drag-and-drop and file/folder selection via native picker. Directory imports are non-recursive (top-level files only) and hidden files are skipped. It accepts common raster formats and a broad RAW list, including DNG, CR2/CR3/CRW, NEF/NRW, ARW/SR2/SRF, RAF, RW2/RWL, ORF, PEF, SRW, X3F, 3FR, IIQ, MOS, MRW, DCR, KDC, ERF, and RAW. Added frames are deduplicated by file path, then new items are sorted by filename before being appended. The input panel shows frame count and supports full reset (Clear) of frames, selection, anchor frame, progress, and status. A large preview area shows the currently selected frame plus filename. A scrubber lets you jump frame-by-frame; selection updates are debounced for smoother behavior on large/RAW sets. A scrollable frame list supports click-to-select and drag-to-reorder timeline order. Thumbnails load asynchronously and are cached to improve responsiveness. Export settings include FPS from 1 to 60. Quality presets are High, Medium, Low with target bitrates around 24 Mbps, 12 Mbps, and 6 Mbps. Output size presets include Original, 1080p, 4K, 6K, 8K, plus Custom longest-edge sizing. Custom longest-edge size is adjustable from 720 to 7680 px. Framing mode supports Fit (letterbox/pillarbox) and Crop/Fill. Output destination is selectable with a save panel; extension is normalized to .mp4. Deflicker tools include two independent toggles: Exposure and White Balance. White-balance deflicker supports an anchor frame (choose from menu or use currently selected frame). Export pipeline includes an optional deflicker analysis pass before rendering. Exposure deflicker smooths luminance variations over time with bounded correction. White-balance deflicker aligns per-frame chroma toward the chosen anchor with clamped channel gains. Export provides live status text and progress bar updates. While exporting, the app supports Pause/Resume and Cancel. If export fails or is canceled, partial output cleanup is handled to avoid leaving broken files. Rendering uses Core Image + AVFoundation, applies orientation metadata, and forces even output dimensions for codec compatibility.
