Delete Photo Swipe | PrunePic

PrunePic is an iPhone photo, video, and screenshot cleanup app built for Apple Photos.

It helps you go through your library one item at a time and make a clear decision on each item:
- keep it
- queue it for trash
- mark it as favorite
- save it into an album

Nothing is deleted the moment you review it. When you send something to trash in PrunePic, it goes into a queue first. You can check that queue, restore anything you changed your mind about, or permanently delete in one batch. The photos you will delete will end up in 'Recently Deleted' on your Photos app. They will remain there for 30 days before being deleted permanently from your device. This way you get enough time to review your decisions if you want to change your mind.

PrunePic can review all accessible items in your library, or focus on specific filters like photos, videos, screenshots, and date ranges. It also includes album tools, so you can browse your existing albums, create new custom albums, and file keepers while you clean.

The app tracks what you reviewed, kept, deleted, saved to albums, and how much space you reclaimed. It also shows a live library snapshot by media type, including photos, videos, screenshots, Live Photos, portraits, selfies, panoramas, HDR, RAW, animated photos, long exposures, screen recordings, cinematic videos, slo-mo videos, timelapses, bursts, favorites, and spatial media.

PrunePic is privacy-friendly. It works through Apple’s Photos framework on your device. Your photos and videos are not uploaded to the developer’s own servers for cleanup. It works without internet and you are in full control. The app logs statistics for the space you saved, how many photos you deleted but this data remains on your phone and if you uninstall the app, this data disappears with it. Nothing gets uploaded to distant servers.

You can also track your progress via our cool Widgets on your home screen. They show you your latest photos and you can see how much space you gained since you started using the app. 

The only data collected is usage data for analytics and performance improvements purposes (crashes etc).
