Burn Book is a calm food app that connects what you eat with what you actually have at home.
Most calorie apps make you log every meal from scratch. Most recipe apps assume a full grocery run. Burn Book does both: log meals and macros for free, then unlock Pantry Pro to track your fridge, freezer, and pantry shelves and see which recipes you can cook tonight.
FREE | LOG & LEARN
• Search foods and log meals with calories, protein, carbs, and fat
• Scan barcodes on packaged foods (where supported)
• View statistics and trends for your intake
• Save and import recipes with ingredients and steps
• Set personal nutrition goals during onboarding
PANTRY PRO | COOK FROM HOME
• Home inventory for fridge, freezer, and pantry cupboard
• Expiry dates so you use food before it goes bad
• Suggested recipes ranked by what matches your shelf
• Recipe nutrition estimates for the full dish
• Log a meal from pantry in one tap—no re-searching the same foods
• Add foods to your pantry straight from the Eat tab
HOW IT WORKS
1. Log what you eat on the Eat tab (or from pantry when you’re subscribed).
2. Add staples to your pantry with amounts, storage location, and best-before dates.
3. Open Recipes to see suggestions based on ingredients you already have.
4. Cook, log the meal, and optionally subtract ingredients from your inventory.
Built for real kitchens—not perfect meal plans. Burn Book helps you waste less, shop smarter, and understand your nutrition without turning every day into a spreadsheet.
PRIVACY
Your food log and pantry data are stored on your device. Network access is used for food search and recipe suggestions.
