Bundle Builder is a native Mac app built for UK lawyers, litigants in person, and legal teams who need to prepare court document bundles for proceedings in England and Wales. Try it out for your jurisdiction and, if it can't work for you tell me why, [email protected] WHAT IT DOES Drag in your PDFs. Bundle Builder numbers them and dates them. You can give them types and Bundle Builder generates an index automatically. When you're done, export the entire bundle as a single merged PDF — ready to file or share. Everything happens on your Mac. Your documents never leave your device unless you choose to share, export or print them. FOR THE BUNDLE BOSS Every bundle has a Bundle Boss — the person responsible for the document and page numbering, typically whoever the court ordered to prepare the bundle. The Bundle Boss sets a password, locks the numbering once all parties have agreed it and the app records every change in a timestamped audit trail. After locking, new documents can still be added at the end for late disclosure. With reasonable file sizes in your PDFs you should have no difficulty with 5,000 pages. Multi-volume bundles are supported: set the starting document number on Part 2 and numbering runs on seamlessly from Part 1. COLLABORATION VIA ICLOUD Save your bundle to iCloud Drive and share the folder. Each party opens the same file on their own Mac. When someone saves a change, iCloud syncs it within seconds. If two people save at the same moment, macOS shows a conflict-resolution dialog so nothing is lost. Import documents directly from another party's bundle using File › Import from Bundle. Select what you need, choose which section to put it in, and Bundle Builder copies the PDFs with their dates, types and notes preserved for the index. PRIVATE ANNOTATIONS Every person who works on a bundle can keep their own private notes, highlights, rectangles, and sticky notes for each document. Those notes are stored in a separate companion file on your own Mac — they are never written into the shared bundle and are never visible to any other party. When you export, your annotations stay private by default. You choose explicitly each time whether to include them when saving or printing the Bundle pdf.
