Markory is a fast, distraction-free Markdown viewer for macOS. It does one thing well: it renders your Markdown and gets out of the way. No editing, no clutter - just your document, displayed the way it's meant to be read. Open a file and read. Markory shows headings, lists, tables, code blocks, task lists, links, and images with clean formatting, in light or dark mode to match your system. Built for the way you work: • Live refresh - edit in your favourite editor, then click refresh (or press ⌘R) to reload. Markory returns you to where you were reading. • Open anything, fast - File ▸ Open, drag-and-drop onto the window, or double-click a .md file in Finder. • Extended Markdown - tables with alignment, fenced code blocks, task lists, strikethrough, and more. • Light and dark - follows your macOS appearance automatically. Private by design. Markory runs entirely on your Mac. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no servers. It reads only the file you open, through the standard macOS sandbox, and never scans your disk.
