Broadcast Studio Clock

StudioClock turns a Mac into a professional broadcast studio clock.

It keeps NTP-accurate time, shows a full-screen clock on a second display, and serves the same live layout to any browser on your network - a TV, a tablet, a kiosk screen behind a monitor - all precision-synced to the master. Everything is driven from one operator desk, and nothing depends on the cloud: if the network drops, the clock holds and never blanks.

TIMEKEEPING
- Syncs to any NTP time source - from public stratum-1 servers (NPL, PTB, NIST) to a dedicated studio time-server appliance on your own network
- Live sync health readout (offset, round trip, server) so you can trust the number
- Per-display broadcast delay, so the clock reads what a delayed viewer sees

DESIGN YOUR DISPLAYS
- 10 broadcast clock faces, from a classic 60-mark studio ring to seven-segment and flip
- Drag-and-drop tiles: clocks, countdown, ON AIR, text and logos - on as many displays as you need
- Undo and redo every layout edit
- Show Mode locks the layout while you are live, so nothing changes by accident

ON AIR
- Full-screen output on any display, blackout, and a red ON AIR treatment
- Countdown with presets, nudge, captions, and count-down-to-a-time (straight into an ad break at 20:30:00)
- A menu-bar clock keeps everything running with no window open; Launch at Login lets a Mac act as a dedicated clock server
- If the LAN viewer was running when the app last quit, it starts again automatically on launch

CONTROL ROOM READY
- OSC in: drive it from Bitfocus Companion, a Stream Deck, or any OSC controller
- OSC out: live state feedback for buttons and dashboards
- TSL UMD 3.1 tally: your vision mixer's program tally lights the ON AIR
- LAN web viewer is read-only by design - viewers can watch but never control
