Chthonic Loba ★☆☆☆☆ v26.18 2026-10-05
Nothing but bullies in the community section
I’m a ftm, and I’ve been struggling with my health, my pregnancy, and things in my personal life. I thought the app was a great experience until I got to the community section. I thought all sorts of people used this app, but I’m not sure they do. All I did was try to share my experience, ask for help, and seek support. And what I was met with was cruelty, harassment, and judgement. Most of the attacks were presumably by middle or upper class white women. I’m assuming this based on the photo icons, and the comments they’ve made. I’ve also shared this with the app in the feedback section, but I just want to warn people of my experience. And if there’s a safer app out there, please share it. Like I’ve mentioned, the app itself was designed well, and I enjoyed the weekly educational videos as a ftm. But I would not recommend this app because of the community section. I suggested to this app in the feedback section, that maybe if somebody has a question, there can be blog post about people sharing their experiences, without any comment sections. Unfortunately, people can’t be trusted with the freedom of speech. So to make it a safer environment and more enjoyable experience, I think the comment section should be taken away. But I do think it’s important for mothers whether first time or not, with one child or multiple, whether they’re working or stay at home, whatever their situation is, to have a support system and to help each other and teach one another. But if there’s going to be cruel people out there who ruined this for others, something needs to change. Because unfortunately we can’t get rid of people like this.

Issue with tracking breastmilk pumping
The app doesn’t let you accurately track your breastmilk if you produce more than 8 oz per breast. I often pump more than 8-11 oz out of my left breast in one session but it only goes up to 8. I can log it as multiple sessions, so the volume is accurate but then the number of pump sessions would be inaccurate. Which means I can’t get accurate records. There shouldn’t be a limit. This needs to be fixed.
