Scaffold – Import, Modify, and Export Folder Structures

Scaffold is a fast and easy-to-use tool that lets you generate, edit, and export file structures with a simple outline. Whether you’re setting up a project, documenting a directory, or reorganizing files, Scaffold makes it effortless—no manual folder creation needed.

New in Scaffold 4.0
	•	Import Existing File Structures – Select a folder, and Scaffold will instantly generate its structure in the text editor, including both folders and files.
	•	Search and Replace – Modify file structures quickly with plain text or regex-based search and replace.
	•	Refreshed UI – A new icon and cleaner design make the app even more intuitive.
	•	Bug Fixes and Enhancements – Improved indentation handling, duplicate file detection, and better overall performance.

Syntax Instructions

Scaffold uses an indentation-based system to define folder and file structures. Tab indentation is preferred, but 4 spaces per level are also supported.
	•	Folders – Any line without an extension is treated as a folder.
	•	Files – Any line with an extension (e.g., .txt, .swift) is treated as a file.
	•	Copy a File – Wrap an absolute path in [ ] → [Users/You/logo.png] (copies file).
	•	Copy a Folder – Wrap an absolute folder path in [ ] → [Users/You/Templates] (copies folder).
	•	Move a File – Wrap an absolute path in ( ) → (Users/You/config.json) (moves file).
	•	Indentation – Tabs define nesting levels for files and folders. 4 spaces can also be used if needed.

Example Outline:

Project
    src
        main.swift
        utils.swift
    assets
        [Users/You/Pictures] // Copies entire folder
        [Users/You/logo.png] // Copies file
        (Users/You/config.json) // Moves file
    docs
        README.md
