LocationLock: Phone Alarm

Protect your device when you step away.

LocationLock turns your iPhone into an offline phone alarm. Arm it with one tap, then get a loud alert if the phone is moved, unplugged, lifted from a wireless charger, or sent to the background.

It’s useful while charging in public, working out at the gym, studying, taking an exam, making a quick stop, or keeping a stroller, bag, or desk setup in sight.

What LocationLock does

- Motion alarm: Detects movement and rotation using the gyroscope, with adjustable sensitivity.
- Charging alarm: Alerts you if the cable is unplugged or the phone is lifted from a wireless charger.
- One-tap arming: Quickly arm protection from the app, widgets, controls, or Siri Shortcuts.
- Intruder snapshot: Optionally take a photo with the front or back camera when the alarm triggers and save it to Photos.
- Biometric unlock: Optionally require Face ID or Touch ID before disarming.
- Apple Watch companion: Arm, disarm, check status, and receive movement alerts from your wrist.
- Countdown: Add a short delay before protection starts so you can put the phone down.
- Max-volume alarm: Play a loud alert using built-in alarm sounds or a Siri voice message.
- Local notifications: Receive an alert whenever the alarm triggers.

Apple Watch companion

Use your Apple Watch to arm or disarm the iPhone alarm, check protection status, and receive movement alerts. Works over Bluetooth or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi.

Private by design

LocationLock works on-device and offline. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no location collection. Photos taken during an alarm are stored on your device only if you choose to save them.
