Your speaker plays a 165Hz tone with wavey variations for 90 seconds. That low frequency moves the speaker hard enough to force trapped water up and out of the grille. Heavy water can take two or three cycles, and there is a steady blast mode when you want a longer, stronger push. ABOUT DUST SpeakClean is built for water, and water is what we recommend it for. Water is liquid, so the tone pushes it out as a droplet. Dust is solid and grips the mesh, so vibration has a much harder time moving it. Light, dry dust sitting on the surface can shake loose.
