MJA Smart Remote 26 is a dedicated bridge application designed to keep your trusted, pre-2025 MJ Subwoofer communicating perfectly with the very latest Apple devices. As mobile operating systems evolve (specifically with the release of iOS 26.1), the architecture required to speak to hardware changes. Rather than declaring your subwoofer obsolete, we have released this specific version to ensure you can continue to enjoy the MJ Audio reference standard on your newest device. Download this version ONLY if: You own a Legacy MJ Acoustics Subwoofer (Pre-2025 or with a serial number less than 1895). Your iPhone/iPad is running iOS 26.1 or newer. If you have a brand-new MJ Subwoofer (serial number 1900 or later), please use the SR+ App. If you are using an older Apple device (iOS 25 or below), please use the classic MJA Smart Remote. MJ Acoustics Smart Remote 26 Version 1.7.2 (SR) is an App for iPad or iPhone. SR employs wireless communication technology for use with those subwoofers series that have SR enabled hardware (from 2017, with serial numbers up to 1895). No router connection required; total autonomous communication between the subwoofer and your Apple smart device is achieved via the Bluetooth LE data transmission protocol. The App is free and no longer under development. Non-MJ subwoofer owners and existing legacy MJ subwoofer owners will still be able to benefit from the visual representation of the frequency response curve shown in real-time from the RTA function display. A fantastic aid for setting up your subwoofer for optimal integration with your speakers in a 2-channel or multichannel system. WHAT CAN IT DO? Smart Remote offers the ability to communicate with one or more MJ Sub-Bass Systems bi-directionally, enabling the App to display the exact settings the subwoofer is using. The changes made via the touch-controlled screen are employed instantly and can be made on the fly in real time as music is playing. A fantastic way to set up and fine-tune your sub-bass system for the purest of HiFi integration. The full complement of features remains available to the user, along with a number of key additional features unique to this application. Each subwoofer can be allocated a Position Name. (e.g. Left or Right for Audiophile 2-channel Systems) Each subwoofer is assigned a Group number 1 to 9 (up to 9 Groups). Each subwoofer can be muted, either singularly or in Groups, simultaneously. All subwoofers in a Group can have their gains simultaneously increased or decreased. Real Time Analyser (RTA) provides visual effects of bass in the Frequency Spectrum. Real Time Analyser provides Sensitivity and Frequency Range settings. With these additional features and the already industry-leading feature set, you are assured of the purest integration and the ability to achieve this all from your chosen listening position.
