Startlight puts all your iRacing series on your Home Screen. Pick the series you run, and the widget shows where each one races this week, the track coming up next week, and a live countdown to the next green flag. No app to open — it moves with the schedule.
Pay once. No subscription, no account, no ads. Built by a racer who got tired of loading a website to check what track was on this week.
WHAT IT DOES
- Follow all your series. Add every series you run and see them in one widget — no more checking the schedule series by series.
- This week and next. The current track plus the one coming up next week, so you know what to practice.
- Live countdown to green. A running timer to the next session, right on your Home Screen. Two widget sizes that display current and next track.
- Tap to cycle. The widget runs an App Intent — tap it to flip through the series you follow without opening the app.
- Apple Watch app. A native watchOS app, synced from your phone over WatchConnectivity. Check the grid from your wrist.
- Track maps. A custom-drawn map for every track on the schedule.
- Start-lights game. A Formula-style five-light sequence: wait for lights out, then tap. It logs your best reaction time. Startlight is named after it.
HOW IT'S BUILT
- SwiftUI throughout — real WidgetKit widgets and a native Watch app, not a web view in a wrapper.
- No login. Nothing to sign into, no password to manage. The schedule loads on launch.
- No data collected. Your series picks and settings stay on your device.
- Pay once. You own it. No recurring billing.
If you run a few series and want a faster answer to "what's on this week, what's next, and how long until green," that's what Startlight is.
