EarTime is a minimalist iOS app designed to help you build a healthier relationship with your earbuds. It automatically tracks your listening sessions, gently reminds you to take breaks, and gives you a clear picture of your daily and weekly habits — all without a single byte of your data ever leaving your device.

**Automatic Session Tracking**
EarTime detects the moment your earbuds connect and begins tracking your session in real time. When you take them out, EarTime quietly records the session and updates your daily total. No buttons to press, no timers to set.

**Customizable Limits**
Set a per-session interval limit and a daily listening limit that work for you. EarTime sends a gentle push notification when you're approaching your threshold, helping you stay mindful without being intrusive.

**Zen Mode**
Go beyond notifications. When Zen Mode is enabled, EarTime will softly dim whatever you're listening to — your music, your podcast, your audiobook — and play a calming ambient chime as a physical reminder to take a break. Your audio fades back in automatically. It's the gentlest nudge technology can offer.

**Lock Screen Widget**
See your daily progress at a glance without ever opening the app. A minimalist circular ring on your Lock Screen fills as you listen, giving you instant awareness of how much time remains until your daily limit.

**Insights**
Visualize your listening trends over the past week with clean, native charts. See your average session length, daily totals, and weekly patterns — all the data you need to make more mindful choices.

**Radically Private**
EarTime stores everything locally on your device using CoreData. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics SDKs, and no network calls. Your listening habits are yours alone.
