PulseMetrix helps you understand your cardiovascular activity using your recorded workout data
PulseMetrix helps you understand your cardiovascular activity using your recorded workout data.
The app analyzes your workouts from Apple Health and shows how much time you spend in each heart rate zone, helping you better understand the intensity of your exercise.
Heart rate zones are calculated using your age and sex, so you can see which parts of your workouts fall into moderate or vigorous intensity.
Compare to AHA Activity Guidelines
PulseMetrix lets you compare your weekly activity totals with the physical activity recommendations from the American Heart Association:
• 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week
• 75–150 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity
• or a combination of both
By viewing how your workouts contribute to these intensity levels, you can better understand your overall activity patterns.
