CineLutLiveGrade is a professional on‑set live grading and recording system for filmmakers, colorists, and DITs who need to see the final look while the camera is still rolling. Connect your SDI/HDMI camera through a capture card, grade in real time, and record graded ProRes clips that are ready to hand off to editorial and dailies—directly from your Mac.

Unlike offline grading tools, CineLutLiveGrade is designed for live work. You see exactly what the camera sees, with your LUTs and CDL‑style primaries applied, plus waveform, parade, histogram, and vectorscope updating on every frame. Looks are applied consistently across takes, and what you record is what the editor sees.

You can build looks using 3D LUTs and ASC‑CDL‑style controls (slope, offset, power, saturation), manage exposure with professional scopes, and record graded clips with optional burn‑in for timecode, reel/scene/take, or other slate information. Import and export CDL and LUT files, save and recall presets, and keep a shot library of stills and looks per scene so your visual intent stays consistent across the entire production.

For dailies and post‑production, CineLutLiveGrade can export:

Graded ProRes clips with the look baked in.
CDL, AMF, and LUT files for other systems (Silverstack, Resolve, etc.).
EDL + CDL packages so each event in an EDL gets its own CDL file.
This lets you choose whether to bake the look directly into media for editorial, or keep it as metadata and LUTs that downstream tools can interpret precisely.

CineLutLiveGrade is built specifically for macOS with a dark, focused interface that feels at home on a DIT cart or grading workstation. The layout mirrors a real on‑set workflow: Source (File or Live), Look, Presets, Export, Record, Scopes, Shot Library, and EDL/dailies handoff, so you can work top‑to‑bottom through the pipeline without hunting for controls.
