CoolHead: Stay in Control

CoolHead is a wellness companion for iPhone and Apple Watch that helps you pause and reset when emotional intensity rises.

Using live heart rate from Apple Watch (HealthKit) plus activity context from step data, CoolHead estimates possible trigger moments and prompts a short calming break.

What you can do in CoolHead:
• Emergency Calm Mode: a guided sequence for muscle relaxation, breathing, meditation, and relationship reminder review.
• Breathing Exercises: 4-4-6 pattern sessions (1, 3, or 5 minutes) to reduce tension fast.
• Meditation: 5/15/30-minute sessions with gentle bell chimes every 5 minutes.
• Stoic Reminders: short stoic teachings to help you pause before reacting.
• Relationship Reminders: add personal captions and photos to reconnect with shared positive memories.
• Live Status: view watch-based trigger and heart-rate status on iPhone. (Optional for Apple Watch users)

Privacy and data:
• Uses HealthKit heart rate and motion/step context while monitoring is active.
• Relationship reminders (text/photos) are stored locally on your device.
• Live wellness state syncs between paired watch and iPhone via WatchConnectivity.
