3. Reach for a blocked app — get met by the Word.
When you open something Rooted is blocking, you'll see a warm, on-brand shield with a scripture, not a feed. Take a breath. Stay, or move on.
4. Earn a mindful break, the rooted way.
Need a few minutes back? Open Rooted, check in with a quick wellness reflection, receive a scripture, and read it aloud. Rooted listens and follows along — when you've spent a real moment in the Word, your break begins.

Rooted uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks. Your Screen Time data is processed on-device inside Apple's privacy sandbox — Rooted's host app never sees your raw usage, and nothing about which apps you use is sent to our servers. Scripture recommendations use only anonymized signals you choose to share, like a wellness check-in score, never personal identifiers.
