Wallz - App Blocker

Wallz is an app blocker with one simple rule: flush dopamine by staring at a wall before you get your apps back.

Pick the distracting apps and sites you want behind the wall. When you want to unlock them, Wallz uses the phone's camera to verify that you are pointed at a real wall. Once the wall is checked in, you get 10 seconds to place your phone out of reach. Then wall time begins: stare at the wall. If you pick up the phone during the session, the timer resets.

Why a wall? Because a blank, ordinary surface gives your attention nowhere else to go. Wallz adds friction, and makes wall time a dopamine-flushing ritual the counteract the hundreds of algorithms pointed at your dopamine receptors.
