Mini Network Scanner is a lightweight macOS app that discovers all the devices on your local network and shows them in a clean, sortable table: IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, hostname, MAC address, vendor, open ports, and live latency. It works without root and stays inside the App Sandbox — using ARP/NDP neighbor discovery, a fast TCP sweep, mDNS/Bonjour and NetBIOS name resolution, and the full IEEE OUI vendor database. Turn on continuous scanning to watch devices come and go in real time, click a web port to open it in your browser, and give any device your own custom name.
Feature bullets (if you need them):
Discovers devices via ARP/NDP + TCP sweep — no root required
IPv4, IPv6, MAC, vendor, open ports and ping in one view
Names from reverse DNS, mDNS/Bonjour and NetBIOS
Device-type inference even for privacy-randomized MACs
Continuous scanning with presence tracking ("last seen")
Clickable web ports, custom device labels, network-interface picker
