About
From the App Store SourceInstead of asking “How did I play?”, ask “What did the round reveal?” Inspired by Blain Bertrand’s book Golf and the Long Walk, Long Walk is a quiet journal companion for golfers who want to explore what the game teaches them about life. ENTER WITH AN INTENTION Choose how you want to walk today: steady, curious, courageous, patient, humble, present—or in your own words. Add a course name if you wish. No target score required. NOTICE ALONG THE WAY Move through the round at your own pace with occasional reflection questions. The Apple Watch companion keeps your intention and current prompt close, with simple interactions and subtle haptics. Keep a moment worth remembering, then return to the walk. Prompts progress manually; GPS is not required. RETURN WITH SOMETHING TO CARRY Reflect through East—Clarity, South—Courage, West—Letting Go, and North—Wisdom, then arrive at Center: Carry It Forward. Finish the thought: “Today the course taught me…” REVISIT YOUR OWN WORDS My Walks keeps your completed reflections together. Search, edit, delete, or share an entry. Add a Beyond the Course note when a lesson shows up in everyday life. NOTICE RECURRING THEMES What Golf Is Teaching Me gathers matching words from your intentions, reflections, and saved Beyond the Course notes. Explore themes with dates and links to each full walk. No scores, judgments, or AI interpretation. YOUR JOURNAL, ON YOUR DEVICES No account, advertising, analytics, subscription, or cloud backend. Your journal is stored locally, with companion-round information transferred between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch. Long Walk is a reflection journal, not a scorecard, GPS tool, swing instructor, or performance coach. The main app experience is in English; Privacy and Impressum are available in English and German.
