Zaad: Prayer Times & Qibla

Zaad is a calm prayer app for every day: accurate prayer times and a gentle adhan for your city, with the Qibla, mosques nearby, the Quran and your daily duas. Everything for worship is free, with no ads and no account. Jantri is now Zaad. Same app, new name. Update as usual: your city, settings and alerts stay. PRAYER TIMES • Worked out on your phone for your city or your location, even offline. • Your country's calculation method is picked for you, from Umm al-Qura to the Moonsighting Committee, with Hanafi or standard Asr. • In Pakistan: the Karachi method with Hanafi Asr, Sunrise (Ishraq), Zawal and Misl-e-Awwal. In Shikarpur, Zaad shows the printed Shikarpur jantri itself. • The prayer in progress, a live countdown and the whole day drawn as one curve, under a sky that changes with each prayer. • Sehri and Iftar every day, and the Hijri date, which you can adjust to match your local announcement. • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with the next prayer and a live countdown (iOS 17 or later). ADHAN ALERTS • For each prayer, choose the Makkah adhan, a notification or silence. • A quiet reminder before the prayer, if you want one. • Alerts are scheduled on your phone, so they work offline. MOSQUES AND QIBLA • A steady Qibla compass with the bearing and the distance to Makkah. • Mosques around you on a map or a list, with directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps. INGREDIENTS SCAN • Scan a packaged food's barcode to see what its ingredients list contains. • Each flagged ingredient is marked Contains, Check source or Views differ, with a short reason. • Product data comes from Open Food Facts, a free and open database. • It is not a halal certification. Always check for a trusted halal logo. Not for allergies. QURAN • All 114 surahs in Arabic, with the English translation (Saheeh International) or Urdu in Nastaliq. • White, Paper or Night pages, and text sizes that suit you. • Bookmarks, your last place, search, and browsing by surah or juz. DUAS AND TASBIH • Morning and evening adhkar, guided one at a time. • Duas for the moments of the day: after salah, before sleep, waking up, travel, food and drink, home and the mosque. • A tasbih that counts with a gentle tap and remembers today's total. RAMADAN AND THE HIJRI CALENDAR • Sehri and Iftar alerts in English, Roman Urdu or Urdu. • The Hijri calendar with the days ahead, and the monthly timetable for your city. • A Ramadan night sky on the Prayers screen, and a Ramadan app icon from 1 Ramadan until Eid. You can turn the icon off in Settings. SHARE • Share today's times as a card for WhatsApp status or Instagram. YOUR WORSHIP IS YOURS • No ads, no tracking, no analytics and no account. • Your city, settings and history stay on your phone. • A few features use the internet and send only what they need: a barcode lookup, the mosque list for your country, and the map. ZAAD PLUS (OPTIONAL) Everything for worship stays free, forever. Zaad Plus is a one-time purchase, with no subscription, that adds a few extras for style and convenience: • 2 extra share-card styles: Night and Mihrab • Photo of ingredients in Scan, when a barcode isn't found • The Always night theme • Custom tasbih: your own dhikr, targets and history • More widget styles: Mihrab, Calligraphy and Minimal Family Sharing is supported.
