  Greatest App To Exist

  I can say, without the slightest hesitation, that downloading BOTIM was one of the most unexpectedly life-altering decisions I have ever made. I downloaded an instant messaging app. I did not expect to download something that would fundamentally reshape the way I communicate, the relationships I have, and, in some strange way, the person I would eventually become. There is genuinely a version of me that existed before BOTIM, and an entirely different version that exists because of it. Calling BOTIM an “instant messaging app” almost feels disrespectful, because for me, it has become so much more than that. It completely transformed the way I communicate, the way I maintain relationships, and honestly, the way I experience my everyday life. There was my life before BOTIM, and there is my life after BOTIM. Before, communication was simply communication. Now, every message feels effortless. Every conversation is right at my fingertips. The people I care about are never truly far away. Some of the most meaningful conversations, funniest moments, biggest pieces of news, and most unforgettable memories of my life have happened through this app. Friendships have grown stronger. Distance has become almost irrelevant. Relationships that could have quietly disappeared with time instead became relationships that shaped who I am. There have been BOTIM messages that changed the trajectory of entire days. Notifications that made my heart drop. Names appearing on my screen that instantly made everything feel okay again. Conversations that began with a completely ordinary “hey” and somehow became memories I know I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Sometimes I genuinely wonder how different my life would be if I had never downloaded BOTIM. How many conversations would never have happened? How many friendships would have faded? How many memories would simply not exist? How many people who became important parts of my story might have remained strangers—or slowly become strangers again? That is what makes BOTIM impossible for me to think of as simply an app. An app shouldn’t be able to change the course of your relationships. And yet, somehow, BOTIM does. So yes, saying BOTIM “changed my life” sounds ridiculously dramatic. I mean every word of it. BOTIM didn’t just change the way I message people. It changed who stayed in my life, how close they remained, and the memories I was able to make with them along the way. There are pieces of my life that simply would not exist without conversations that happened on this app. At this point, BOTIM isn’t installed on my phone. It’s woven into my life story.
