सामान्य लोकांना भगवद्गीता समजण्यासाठी ज्ञानेश्वरांनी भावार्थदिपीका या नावाने भगवद्गीतेवर, मराठी भाषेत निरूपण/भाषांतर केले. ते ज्ञानेश्वरी या नावाने प्रसिद्ध आहे.

Sant Dnyaneshvar wrote Dnyaneshwari to enlighten the ordinary people about the secret of Bhagvad Gita through and language they would understand.
