TouchBESO

TouchBESO is a digital design tool for educational purposes. This tool can generate innovative, lightweight, and efficient 2D structural designs. TouchBESO was developed based on the bi-directional evolutionary structural optimization (BESO) method, which was proposed by Emeritus Professor Yi Min 'Mike' Xie and Professor Xiaodong Huang. Compared with traditional topology optimization tools, TouchBESO allows the user to change loads, supports and other optimization parameters in real-time, helping the user understand the BESO method easily.
