Quicknotes Teacher is a fast, simple way to keep track of student progress, behavior, and classroom moments, all in one place on your device.

Create classes, add students, and record quick notes in seconds. Each note includes a timestamp, one or more tags, and an optional comment so you can capture what happened without breaking your flow in class.

Use tags like “Great Day,” “Late,” “Participation,” or “Needs Follow Up” to spot patterns over time. Open any student to see a clear timeline of notes, filter by date or tag, and search by keyword when you need something specific for a conference or meeting.

QuickNotes Teacher includes a Reports tab that helps you turn everyday notes into useful summaries:

Student Summary reports for individual students

Tag Frequency reports that show which tags appear most often

Daily and Weekly Activity reports to show when things are happening

Class Overview reports to compare students in a single class

Filtered Export reports so you can slice the data you need

All of your information is stored locally in a Drift database on your device. There are no accounts to create and no required cloud sync. You stay in control of your data, and you can export or back it up whenever you like.
