Sphira Track

Sphira Track is an experimental web browser built to explore what everyday web usage could look like on future XR smart glasses.
Instead of being fixed in space like traditional XR browsers, the window stays in front of you as you move—creating a mobile, continuous browsing experience similar to carrying the Web with you.

Through this browser, we are investigating fundamental questions for the spatial computing era:
• Where should the Web appear in your field of view?
• What is the ideal reading distance and scale in mixed reality?
• How should information behave while walking so it remains helpful but never intrusive?
• What does “good spatial UX” mean when balancing visibility and safety?

To keep the experience natural, the window does not follow simple head turns or body rotations.
If you’re seated and turn around to talk to someone, the browser stays where it is—just like a real monitor. It follows only when you physically move, avoiding unnecessary distractions while maintaining comfort.

Sphira Track is an early-stage experiment, but it aims to spark discussion about how the Web should exist and behave when XR becomes an everyday platform.
