IFC IDS Validator

IFC IDS Validator is a focused BIM utility for checking IFC models against IDS specifications directly on-device.

Built for BIM managers, coordinators, and QA workflows, the app lets you import IFC and IDS files, run checks locally, inspect failures clearly, and export reports for project teams.

Key features:

Import .ifc, .ifczip, .ids, and .xml (IDS) files
Read IFC/IDS file metadata (name, extension, size, modified date, security scope state)
Detect IFC schema from header text where available (for example IFC2X3 / IFC4 / IFC4X3)
Run local IDS checks with pass/fail summary and affected object counts
Review failed requirements with rule-level detail
Export validation reports for sharing and record-keeping
Works across iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Mac Catalyst)
Privacy:

Files stay on-device in this build unless you explicitly export using system share options.

IDS support in this release targets the implemented local rule set and will expand in future updates.
