WEATHER BUILT FOR THE LAKE
Current temperature, sky conditions, water temperature, lake level relative to normal, and past rainfall, updated continuously. Built for the 10-foot view, not the phone screen. Lightning detection appears as a clear pill the moment strikes are detected near the lake. Red for strikes within 5 miles, amber for mid-range. Open the lightning history with one tap to see every strike in the last 90 minutes plotted on a map. NOAA severe weather warnings (tornado, severe thunderstorm, freeze, marine) appear at the bottom of the overlay, color-coded by severity. Select any alert for the full NWS advisory: affected areas, expiration time, instructions.

LAKE CONDITIONS
Water temperature, lake level, and 24-hour rainfall pulled from Turkey Creek Dam and Dike Conservancy District and other lake sensors. Updated every 15 minutes.

Built for the big screen and the long view. TV screen burn-in mitigation through subtle position drift during quiet periods. Type sized for 10-foot reading. The lightning pill auto-dismisses 30 minutes after the last strike, transitioning to a quiet "no recent lightning" status before clearing entirely. Designed to leave on.
