dMagy Picture Prep helps you prepare a picture collection by adding useful information that stays with your photos. Choose a main Picture Library Folder, then work through your pictures one at a time. Add titles, descriptions, dates, people, places, tags, curator notes, and crop choices without changing your original image files. dMPP is designed for people who want to make family photos, scanned pictures, event collections, and long-term photo folders easier to understand, search, review, and share later. What you can do: • Add clear titles and descriptions • Record dates, eras, and date ranges • Identify people manually or use local face suggestions to speed up review • Track places and reusable locations • Add tags for filtering and review • Save curator notes for uncertainty, research clues, or follow-up work • Create non-destructive crop choices for future display or sharing • Use optional speech-to-text to help enter descriptions Local and portable by design: dMPP stores its work locally in the folder you choose. It writes human-readable dMPMS sidecar files beside edited photos and creates a local “dMagy Portable Archive Data” folder for shared people, places, tags, crops, and support files. Your original pictures are not modified. Face suggestions, when used, are processed locally on your Mac and can be reviewed, accepted, ignored, or corrected by you. Your dMPP information can travel with your picture folder, making it easier to preserve the meaning of your collection over time. Privacy: dMagy Picture Prep does not upload your photos, metadata, face data, or settings. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, user accounts, cloud sync, remote storage, or custom crash reporting.
