  Fantastic app. I keep coming back.

  This app is just something that I can't get my head off. I've tried everything. I think I've tried most editing software. I've even seen my wife using Edius. Lumafusion is by far the most fun I've ever had editing video in my life. If you save the clips to your phone and you have enough space with a Blackmagic camera, you can save them. Find your downloaded files, then go straight into Lumafusion and edit the videos. That's the best workflow I came up with: saving from Blackmagic to a local folder that's downloaded, then working locally on my local drive on the phone. The app is so intuitive. The functions and the thought process behind it are just so brilliant: cutting clips, throwing them off the timeline to delete, and saving your presets on the bottom. The presets are just so beautifully done. I can't think of anything better. The only thing I did email about, and I did get a reply, is about fast-forwarding the clips while previewing. While you're previewing, they'll edit quickly, and they did eventually release that. You can press play and swipe right to increase playback speed and swipe back again, but you don't have any audio on it. That's the last thing I will need to make this perfect. When you edit large, long videos, you don't want to listen to yourself at real-time speed. You want to hear your speech faster, so that will be the final thing. The fact that it's on your phone or iPad is incredible. I can't thank them enough, and it doesn't have the bells and whistles. Maybe AI editing is the thing they might have to do in the future, but apart from that, I love it.

  Paid app, but audio keeps cutting out, making editing impossible

  **Title:** Paid app, but audio and playback keep failing, making editing impossible **Review:** I paid for LumaFusion expecting a professional-level editor, but for weeks two serious bugs have made it almost unusable. First, audio cuts out. While I'm editing, sound stops completely on every clip in the timeline, usually after I fast-forward or scrub. The audio meters show sound is playing, but I can't hear anything. Force-quitting the app often doesn't fix it. Restarting the iPad does, but within a few minutes the sound cuts out again. Second, playback keeps stopping on its own. I press play and the video stops a moment later, over and over. I often have to press play five or more times just to watch a section through. Both problems happen constantly on iPadOS 27. I've spent over a month on a video project, and these bugs have slowed it to a crawl and put the whole project at risk. I've contacted support. Until these are fixed, I can't recommend paying for this app if you need reliable playback while editing. You may want to send a quick follow-up to support about the playback issue too, so they have both problems on record.
