Poor user flow. Just let me buy my ticket.

App demands you sign in to buy a ticket. Forget your password and it requires a verification code. Fair enough but sometimes it takes several minutes to send. By then, the enter code window has disappeared and you can't recover it and you have no choice but to request a new code. Then after 3 failed attempts, you're locked out and have to wait 15 minutes for a new code. Why do I even need an account to buy a train ticket? You know people used to show up, buy a ticket at the counter, and hop on the train without giving you my personal data. And you do understand people use this app while waiting for or already on the train- it's time sensitive. Fix this user flow or better yet just let me give you my money so I can take the train.

    Pathetic app

As a frequent user of the LIRR this app is pathetic. You can’t activate a ticket without an internet connection. Try that on the platform at Penn Station! Once the train departure time passes it disappears from the schedule - so once you’re on the train you can’t see the remaining stops or even what time your train is supposed to arrive so you know to get ready to get off. This seems like basic functionality that the JV programmers at NJ Transit couldn’t even figure out.
