Built for pubs, restaurants, hotels, event venues and hospitality teams, HostEntra Scanner lets staff check guests into events without giving them access to the full HostEntra dashboard. Use it for music nights, football screenings, quiz nights, private events, ticketed evenings, tasting menus, Christmas parties and more. With HostEntra Scanner, venue staff can scan a customer’s event QR code, instantly confirm the booking, see how many guests are included, and mark the booking as arrived. A venue can set up a temporary phone or tablet for event entry, allowing staff to scan codes at the door without accessing bookings, reports, rota, customer records or admin settings. How it works: 1. A customer books an event through HostEntra. 2. The customer receives their QR code before the event. 3. Staff open HostEntra Scanner on a venue device. 4. Staff scan the guest’s QR code at arrival. 5. The event booking is marked as arrived in HostEntra. 6. The QR code cannot be reused. HostEntra Scanner is part of the HostEntra hospitality platform. A HostEntra account with Events and QR Check-in enabled is required.
