Japan experiences various natural disasters, including earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, landslides, and floods. Every year, these disasters occur, and unfortunately, many people are affected, sometimes losing their lives. In the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, ALTs from the United States lost their lives to the tsunami.
To avoid disaster, it is crucial to quickly understand where, what, and how something is happening, and what to do when disaster strikes. However, much of this information in Japan is provided in Japanese. During a disaster, you may also need to ensure the safety of students in your classroom.
This app provides drills to learn essential terminology needed at actual disaster sites and fundamental disaster knowledge you should know.
