Hi, I’m Justinas, the developer of Mental Pulse.

Work often becomes stressful for me. Sometimes I focus too much and push past what feels healthy. Other times, I spend too much time wandering, thinking about what I should do, and end the day without a real outcome. I know this pattern very well. It’s something I’ve lived with for years.

I kept asking myself: what can I do to feel energized, motivated, and directional - without burning out or drifting?

For a long time, these reflections stayed within conversations with close friends. I read, I experimented, I discussed. Eventually, I decided it was time to give something back. Creating Mental Pulse is the first step in that direction.

I don’t position myself as the ultimate expert in psychology, efficiency, energy, or spirituality. But I care deeply about these topics. What drives me is learning, sharing, and collaborating with professionals who have dedicated their lives to studying performance and recovery - and translating that knowledge into something practical and usable.

Through conversations with experts in sports psychology, one idea stood out: athletes measure effort. They use structured tools, like perceived exertion scores, to monitor strain and adjust before performance drops. We realized that many of those principles can be adapted to cognitive work - to ordinary (and sometimes exceptional) office and computer workers, just like elite athletes do in their training.

Mental Pulse starts simple. There are many ideas for deeper analysis and new features, but I wanted to begin with the basics: awareness. A small, consistent practice that lays the foundation for stronger productivity and healthier mental patterns over time.

If you’re interested not just in my journey, but in exploring how to work with the same intentionality athletes bring to training, this is an invitation. Start by using the tools they use. Learn your rhythm. Build from there.
