The app leverages Apple CoreNFC and ISO 7816 smart-card technology to securely verify location and attendance at an onPoint™ tag. A grid of these tags, provisioned by the IAT cloud platform, helps to reliably locate connected devices indoors and within multi-level structures where satellite navigation is hampered. The tag signs one-time passcodes, and the signed data is returned to the platform for verification. Once verified, the platform issues a tamper-resistant digital proof that an agent running the app can present to a principal to confirm the time and place of presence — what we call 4D compliance.
