SECURITY & PRIVACY Patient Thread is built for healthcare. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Staff access requires multi-factor authentication and sessions time out automatically after inactivity. Patient Thread is built and operated by Patient Thread Ltd, a UK software company registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, in accordance with UK GDPR and NHS data security standards. Your clinic remains the controller of your clinical record. Patient Thread is provided to patients through participating clinics. If your clinic uses Patient Thread, your care team will give you your registration details.
