  Honestly the best

  I’ve been writing for just over twenty years now, and have been using the Pages app for about two years give or take. And I can honestly say out of all the different programs/apps I’ve used for writing, I love the Pages app so much. It’s perfect to have on my iPhone and iPad. I’m extremely happy I can save to my iCloud and then write on one device and then switch to another and pick right back up where I left off. My ONLY complaint is that there is no dark mode. Literally the only thing I have a problem with, with this app. Everything else has been amazing and I’ve had no problems whatsoever in the few years I’ve been using it. I just wish it had dark mode for when I’m writing at night. Other than that, I’d recommend it to anyone with an iPhone and/or iPad because it’s been just that great.

  Can’t Copy/Paste from Previous Pages Doc

  Since support for the old free Pages 14.5 is going away I decided to download the new Pages 15.4 as well as the new Numbers 15.4. I tried to copy text from a Pages 14.5 document and paste into 15.4 and it would not paste. I could see “Edit” in the menu bar flash when I pasted but nothing pasted. I could sometimes get copy/paste from an email to work. Complete frustration. Why would I pay for this if copy/paste doesn’t work. Apple really needs to reconsider their subscription model. If I have to pay to get a word processor and spreadsheet to work, it looks like I’ll have to return to Microsoft for the first time in 18 years. I’ve raved about Pages and Numbers for years, and now I don’t have a good thing to say about it. What a shame.
